Made by Secret Projects Maker Groups throughout 5 Indian states, from south to north, each bag is stitched with love and care by women who are proud to be part of Secret Projects.

Whether it’s using a bag that over a life time could replace 5,000 plastic carrier bags, doing your bit by putting less waste into the environment, through to having a gorgeous, strong and sizeable shopping bag to hand when out and about - and what’s wrong with looking good whilst shopping!

However, like all Secret Products it is so much more than a handy, good looking shopping bag. Each bag empowers women to have the confidence and resources to make choices, thrive and contribute to the strengthening of their communities.
We are particularly proud of the innovation of this product in response to the Indian Governments ban of single use plastic bags throughout the country. This gave us a great opportunity to seize to provide not just an international market for the bags, but also a domestic one and we began a programme to assist the Makers in establishing local markets.
